Stopped in at the dam last week .plenty of water in it and not very many campers at the moment..but no wood for fires so yup will need to collect some from out bush.

it will be appreciated to have a definite list of members committing so I can cater for the numbers at the BBQ. I need to purchase goods and arrange cold storage for perishables so quantities are important. it is getting close to the muster now and I will be leaving perth on the 14th to stay at Northampton prior to the Muster so I need to be organised.
I would encourage and appreciate anyone coming to finalise the funds soon, $25 is a few coffees or a pack of smokes and lighter nowadays, not a lot for what the forum provides daily.

sure is Goldfish, even if it ends up being just a few of us. if there is less than 10 attending I will refund the $25 and wont bother with the BBQ etc. Be a big shame but what can you do, the numbers seemed to dwindled as soon as some support was requested. no worries, I am sure the ones that make the effort will have a great time catching up at a great camp spot and find some gold to boot.

G'day all.
I received the goods from Ray yesterday and will be picking up some merchandise off Cliff over the weekend, cheers guys, so we have some nice prizes for things like smallest nugget, most unusual find, funniest story, best camp oven grub, ETC . some great gear donated by Ray of Pilbara Prospecting Supplies and Premier Tyres and Auto and Cliff for DWAG and of course our sponsors Minelab.
what ever is left over after the muster I will send off to members as prizes for best pic, funniest joke, most contributing members ETC as voted by everyone at the end of each season.

good point Phil, we will be in the white pajero wagon with a Jayco pop up, we will have our two dogs with us as we cannot get sitters so will be down the bottom area, I know Steve and lea and Buddy otherwise we soon get to know people around camp. maybe everyone describe their setup on here b4 hand and i'm sure we will find each other.

Im planning on getting to the dam by saturday in my silver dual cab with stuff on top, swag etc. last time i was at the dam the best spots directly below the dam wall were fenced off , deemed unsafe to camp that close now, but still heaps of good spots there anyway.
Lookin forward to meeting u guys and hopefully we all find some treasure.
