River crossing at Nullagine

Do you remember the big old river gums at the river crossing into Nullagine? Well they are just a memory now. Big thanks to Main Roads and the Big Australian - all for bugger all it seems.

Typical, of course the trees were removed to allow the high machinery across at the request of someone and no doubt a payment to roads.

yep & coming from newman when it was all dirt , those gully busters allways caught me out , nothing to do with speed n stubbies .
while on the subject , do the wa people remember that old ding that used to do the add for WA salvage ... we aint fancy but we are cheap was the logo, with the hanky head , Louigi , anyhow on that road we saw a 4 wd & camper trailer broken down , pulled up & checked , he had a busted chassis on the trailer , any how it was Louigis brother , looked the same as well .   the mate went & got a welder & it was a goer 10 hours later , that's the way us rednecks roll, hope you stop if someones in a jam , help em out .

don't mind them trimming back the jungle around those creek crossings--some of them are down right dangerous due to over hanging trees that look as if they have been at the bar of the hotel for quite a while. If that's not bad enough then u get the kamackarsie cattle and roos who dart out and scare the livin crap out of u if u r lucky enough not to hit the buggers.
