Re: Nuggetfinder or Coiltec?
The NuggetFinder Advantage 14x9" also uses Litz wire like the new Coiltec and Minelab Mono coils...
The Coiltec as far as I have seen and been told, may get a bit touch sensitive with age and tend to get their owners really frustrated and usually get an unceremonious demise as a Frisbee or as target practice on a tree for passers by with a rifle.
As far as I can tell, the NF's are more popular, I bought one after doing my own research. as does another guy I know, who runs it on his GPX 4500 in Enhance and does awesome with it, but the money you pay for one reflects their performance, build quality and backup service. They also seem to have a better reputation for getting a ground balance in heavy mineralized soil.
