Rules of the Forum

This forum has been established to encourage the enjoyment of detecting for gold in the West Australian Goldfields and to foster the camaraderie of those who take part in a hobby/profession that excites everyone whether they find a bit of the yellow stuff or not.

This forum has been created for West Aussies but everyone is welcome.  There are certain rules that do apply and will be enforced and we expect everyone to abide by them.  Read the rules, if you don’t like them, please don’t join.

As a GUEST you can only access 5 HEADINGS of information--as a MEMBER  you can access 15 HEADINGS of information

1. Abide by the mining laws of Western Australian.  At no time do we encourage or advocate law breaking but it is your choice if you do so and, this site will not take any responsibility   for your actions or bad choices.
2. Respect other member’s opinions.  While you may not agree with an opinion, we expect you to argue a point of discussion like a decent human being and accept a person’s right to hold their opinion.  No sh*t fights amongst members will be tolerated. Forum Admin reserve the right to edit or delete your posts if they are deemed offensive.
3. ABSOLUTELY No racial discrimination or discriminatory remarks to be posted.  Although we have an “implied right” to freedom of speech under the “Constitution of the Commonwealth of Australia”, we are governed by laws and you will be expected to abide by the laws of Australia.
4. Contain your bad language, full foul words will not be tolerated in the general topic area.  Feel free in the chat section or if sending PM's to friends.  We are Aussies but mind your manners.
5. Please place all advertising of items for Sale, Wanted or Swap in the correct topic.  It saves Admin having to move it.
6. At all times be aware of the copyright laws in Australia and abroad.  We accept no responsibility if you breach these laws.
7. Do not post any inappropriate links or material. Eg, pornography, serious sexual content or jokes containing racial or sexual content. THE POST WILL BE DELETED, YOU WILL ONLY RECEIVE ONE WARNING.  
8. Posts that involve violence or cruelty to animals will be tolerated only if they are in the context of your posted topic but, think before you post.
9. Try to select the correct section for your topic of discussion, it will make things a lot easier for everyone.
10.   Business or Company advertising will not be allowed unless permission has been given by the forum management.


And the most important thing to remember is, "RESPECT IS NOT A BIRTH RIGHT, IT IS EARNT.  SO SHOW RESPECT TO OTHERS AND YOU WILL GET IT BACK".

Let’s make this site something to be proud of.  The West Australian goldfields are the best in the world (that’s our opinion) and explains why everyone wants to come here.
