Still working but always on the fence with an ear out on how the 2015 season is going. So far after a months detecting the prize goes to Nullagine german joe, with a 650 odd gramm solid triangular piece & various smaller chunkies weighing in at 1 kg at 15 th july . Old deep ground , 3500, 24inch mono & skill . Good luck to the guys with the flash 7000 rigs pulling fly sht .just how it is.

G'day Albo haven't seen you on the forum for a while good to hear from you. Huge nugget found by your Nullagine mate yep you don't need the best detector just smarts and luck to walk over it.

Cheers Kev

cheers Kev , and another kilo to the lucky [very savy ]german this week . This time it came in 2 large species & the best bit at a measured 1 metre on the deepest  & still no bedrock , deep ground . He reckons when some 24 inch  nf coils become available for the 7000 , maybe .... he would be tempted to upgrade.
The reason of these posts is to show the new chums that you don't need to be caught up in all the hype each time a new detector comes out & spend heaps of cash to be successful in this game , a 2100 onward will do it . Anyway good luck to all .
