G'day WD
Mate i suggest you try every other timing before Sens Smooth, it
will be like 40% less effective, but it will run quiet.
Try Sens extra first, and even if you can run it in Sens extra with half the gain your still punching far deeper with more sensitivity than sens smooth..
Manual ground balance all the way

Re: 4000 smooth
Well thankyou for that! Is sensitive extra only for small bits, or does it go deep on bigger ones, in ground that is too hot for normal mode?

Re: 4000 smooth
Sens Extra is a lot more sensitive than other timings inc Normal, However, it is
prone to ground noise just like Normal, it will give you better sensitivity on those mid sized targets in the top foot of ground but also punches very deep for those
deep nuggets..
It's very important to ground balance often and run it in Fixed GB.
Salt will interfere a bit using Extra but with the extra punch you can just lift the coil
up a bit to reduce the problem and still go deep.
I used to use a Coiltek 10x5 DD pro elliptical on old digs and run in Sens Extra, great sniffin combo.
