WA Pastoral Leases

Thanks to Mono and Nan, here is a list of the WA pastoral leases and contacts. It will be very helpful to know who you will be dealing with.

Excellent stuff. I had some but not all. Pastoralists certainly don't make it easy to find 'em and then they come out shouting (shooting?) when they come across you on thier leases!

Just wondering how up to date this pastoralist list is?
The reason I ask is the information on a couple of the station isn't correct.
The owners name for Kanowna and Mt Vetters isn't correct, they changed hands around 4 years ago.
I know the previous owners.

It's called research. Contact the Pastorlists & Graziers Association of WA. They should be able to give you an updated list, please post it.

I've contacted the Pastoralists & Graziers Association and they don't have a list and they put me onto the Dept of Regional Developement & Lands.

The DRD&L do have a list but it hasn't been updated for 4 years. Due to privacy, they cannot give me the information but have suggested trying google or the white pages for the details.

The DMP can give you the current pastoral lease owners details if you are applying for a 20A permit.

Thats all I can tell you.

Hi guys,
I need a big favour. seeing this list is out of date and WA government departments won't release the information, if you get the time, can you have a look at the attachment. If you know of some stations and who run them, can you let me know if the details are still current or if they have changed.
If there has been a change, can you let me know the current details.
It's a big ask.

Thanks Bignuggs, I've been look'n for this info for a while without any luck found it hard to find, checked out Govment Depts but was led down the path, got tired of look'n.

Surely you could invoke the "freedom of information" act to get the details. I an't see it being a matter of national security. Fkn govmint pullers!!!

Yes I could do it via FOI but I personally don't have the time. If there is someone out there with time to spare who wants to take on the WA government, best of luck.
My apologies to everyone for having the audacity and temerity to ask for assistance with a project that has benefits for all.
I'm finished with it.

It took a little bit of work but I've converted the original PDF into excel spreadsheet format. I'm not sure if you can take copies of the sheets, if not let me know and I can send them to you. The sheets aren't protected so you can make changes to the information.
If you know of any new changes to the pastoral leases, please let us know.

This should give everyone a more personal approach to getting permission or at least leting pastorial owners know of your intensions---

And if you r talkin to the owners/ managers ask them if they need anything or a newspaper dropped of..
