videos-out 90 degrees--help
I have a few videos that we took earlier last year 2013 but when downloaded they play at a 90' rotation to the screen and I am getting a sore neck lookin at them and would like to know how to rotate them befor I download them on here--there doesn't appear to b a rotation icon so u can turn the video..

I just tried it on one of mine and it worked.
I went to windows live movie maker, and found the rotate icon at top of page, try that maybe if ya haven't already, good luck

Yep. just rotate the vid clip and click save.

and here's a tip if you are using your mobile phone to take video.
Turn it sideways, horizontal, and you get a wider view instead of the small perpindicular clip.

got it upright but still a skinny video--we r all too fat in the present format--hahaa..

Oh bugga,
If the vid is still on the camera, maybe try fix it there before reloading onto computer. you quite possibly may have had a couple of "nugget enlargers", ie, stubbies, and changed something on the camera when filming.

Did I get this wrong ? I sure did. Just proves I'm no expert with new fandangled phones.
I've messed around with my phone for the last 3 hours with different settings for video recording and I couldn't get it to record in the small perpendicular format.
I think it's more to do with ya resolution setting but correct me if I'm wrong.
To get wide view I think it has to be set as 16:9 (at least 1920x1080)same as a DVD. Old movies and television shows are in 4:3, it's why you see lots of black screen either side of the screen.
But like I say, I'm probably wrong. it's the reason I have my cameras set to auto.
