Silly Season starts

it happens every xmas--layoffs--redundancies-mass sacking--whatever.

hear of 8000 coal workers told to have xmas holidays regardless--not a bad thing at least they still might have a job to go back to, maybe theres a member or two mixed up in the coal industry.

Here in Ktown i reckon this will be our worst xmas for 7 to 10 years. People are still leaving town and no one is coming here coz theres no current work at the moment..

might get some detecting in...

cooling off up there eh, any rumors on pluto 2?

Never a good time of year to lay workers off but that's how it goes.
The weather is looking good so maybe go fishing or detecting if ya can, just relax.
Worry about it all on 2nd of January 2015.
I know I won't be worrying about it come lunchtime on 18 December 2014              

Yes, Leinster & Kambalda will be looking like a ghost town when BHP wield the axe before Christmas while their executives will fatten on stuffed turkey and their $million + salaries...........

Pluto 2 wont happen for a long time yet--Woodside have to find a shite load of gas to build #2.
