Re: Big coil settings on GPX 5000
mate I dont generally change my settings from one coil to another..
tweek the manual tune a bit and rx gain about normal FS.
Mind u I generally like my 4500 the way it is and I couldnt be bothered digging a 3' hole for anyone or anything..
One thing about this place is most of the gold is shallow..foot and a half generally unless u get on a reef or leader then thats another ball game and dig to your hearts content..

Try running in Deep mode, special sharp, and adjust gain and stabilisation to meet the ground conditions.
Its also worth playing with the audio settings, if its noisy try the quiet setting.
