coils ain't coils....

Just returned from a great two and a half week trip out bush. Met some fantastic people and shared some great company and yarns. Just had to share this pic, it has definite drooling clout.
We thought this bloke was sleeping in his tent till he showed us what was in it. Turns out it was specifically for his detecting gear - 3 x 5000's and a zillion coils and stuff. Now this is a serious prospector! :cyclops:
He also retuned our detectors for us and mine has never been so well behaved, ever! So thanx heaps - you know who you are - and happy hunting to you...

I only use 3 coils,so maybe I should be getting my hands on another 2 GPX 4000`s

That's why I have seven vehicles. One for each day of the week

If you are pro enough to own 3 gpx5000 you must be doing something right I suppose :)

Sounds like you had a good trip...a fair old collection he has indeed by the look at that photo.

An old mate of mine took me into his shed one day and all I could see were motor cycles....from harleys, honda's buel atec etc, i said how many bikes does a bloke need....his reply was a different bike for every day of the week...for two weeks
