New to Prospecting

Hi we are new to the prospecting hobby. We have just enjoyed a prospecting day with Finders Keepers and we are hooked...I have two boys 10 and 17 who are both keen...Where should we begin..?...what equipment and venues are starting places...Hope you can help and thanks...

G'day

I'm assuming you are Kal locals and you are in gold country, so the logical place to start is at the FindersKeepers shop. You haven't said if you already have detectors but once again, the shop will help and it all comes down to money and how much you want to spend.
Once you have your gear, get a miners right and a wise thing to do would be to join APLA. The shop will point you in the right direction.
When all thats done, the people on this forum will offer all the help you need.
