Garrett Pro Pointer

Wondering if anyone here has worked out a fix, or has seen a fix up vid for the Pro Pointer to
stop or at least decrease the the way it gets picked up by Minelab Pulse Dtectors ??

I know if i attached it to my shoulder the 11" Mono cant see it, but thats not practical for me,
i would tape it to the forehead but there's already one Probe attached

Gotta be a way to get around this problem surely so any help would be great at this stage..

Mine does the same Pete, but to the extent it can't be anywhere near the 45 so I can't take it with me on the gold.

There is a fix for them, I think a resistor? fitted in them does the trick. I have been meaning to send mine to a guy in Melbourne that has offered to mod it for a small fee.

I just Did a simple 10 minute fix for the problem of the PP interference with the ML 4500 & 5000.

I went to the supermarket and got a $2.00 cheap can of womens deoderant.
i taped down the top to let the contents out and then cut off the top, leaving a cylinder thats
a perfect tight fit into the PP holster, just slid it down from the top of the holster into place, covered
it in black tape and Whamo! All Fixed..

No more problems with it making the 5000/Mono combo squeel..

Ok Pete, so what happens when you use the PP? Does it interfere with the 5000or do you have to turn the 5000 off?
