Laverton WA
I first went to Laverton late 1972 or maybe 73, I'm an "Old Man" and I can't remember the year. They had just started the open cut at Windarra and I was working for Leightons. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me but Laverton was virtually a ghost town. I wish I'd had one coz the battery was still standing but to get at the gold, it got knocked down.
I have 2 pics from 1994 and a couple of vids from my last trip Sept this year. Excuse the language and I over stated the size of the flood. Poetic license they call it.
If anyone has pics of laverton back in the late 1960's early 1970's, I would like to see them.

Forgot to load the vids, I'll put them up next post.
