Here's something that might be of interest to the Pilbara members. You probably know all this anyway and at a $150, maybe a little pricey.

ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY BUCKS!!!!

I got a copy of that sitting here behind me in the office as I type!! JEEZZZ! As new as well.

I think I'll put it on eBay. Not a bad read either about how good it was back in the old days of the 1980s,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and showing that the bush babies haven't changed tactics one bit.

I was just talking about that book this afternoon and mentioned that I couldn't find a copy, guess I know where I can get one now, and for the low price of 150$$  

I did some searching, it's no longer in print.  so ya have to ask ya self, is it worth the money.

I guess it's like the G & G books now. asking big dollars, do you really need it ?

I did ask myself that very question- my answer was no, as much as id love to read it, id probably read it once and then leave it sitting on the book shelf for years.

a lot of the book is about yandiyarra if I remember rightly..
just down the road from u Chad.

It is on Yandearra and an interesting read. Big gold with one patch they called the potato patch from memory. But it makes you shake your head when you see how they went about working their lease.

My advice is don't even think about going there - unless you know someone. I did years ago, and even then got marched off after threats of taking my vehicle and putting a hole in my leg!

Pilbarra Gold - Realise this one is long gone, reading a borrowed one at present, damn good read, didn't realise there was so much hassle back in the 80's? Would have been a good investment when first published along with the G&G.
