Perth Weather

Getting some wild weather in Perth the arvo. Power cuts every fews minutes, trees being ripped apart and some damage to houses.
Bigpond is having problems and emails are not getting thru.
In other words, it's a beautiful day

Thank god its another nice day in Perth.
Havent had a call from the kids to says its OK---hmmmm

I had to get out into it, it ripped apart an awning. Had to take it off before it slammed into a plate glass window.

g,day, was heading out today but weather keeping me here in lav c/van park

same in leinster, but easing up now

5.00pm sunday and its rainin in ktown so looks like more heading down south..
plan to head of to Nullagine wednesday but will see..

Today was the first time I ever saw my TV aerial mast go from standing 90 to about 45 degrees and it bounced back. There are certain storm corridors in the Perth Metro area that cop it all the time, lucky for me, I only get it every few years and I got it today.
According to the news, some more coming Tuesday Whoopeee

Also stuck in Ora Banda C/van park, wet and wild, they have closed all the roads so getting some reading done.

Well my place got smashed real good yesty and still hittin, i just got power back on after losing it at 3pm yesty

I work with a chap who still doesn't have power, fuggin great isn't it. Told him to enjoy his cold shower in the morning, or use shower in a can hahaha

hope you are all safe and well in the west .
our houses are built to cyclone standards in the whitsundays, but still scary when a cyclone comes through . last year we had 2 cyclones in 3 days .
i have got a male plug wired into the power box and run my generator with all the blackouts up here .
the only insurance company i would use is suncorp .
they pay you for any type of water damage , no questions asked .

we are having a forced "rest stop" at 29*07'06", 122*04'26".
Is the only place with a bit of scraped ground to bedrock where you dont go up to the axles.

Would be perfect if there was a bit of yellow, not a skerrick but plenty of boot nails and .22's.

Anyway still got a full g/h, plenty of spuds/n/meat an the missus has been in a "happy" mood so what is there to care about.

Better go get more firewood though before the next shower comes through.
