"Virgin - Newbie Tips "

Going for my first 'serious' swing at Easter with the Detecta Club. Have booked a 4500 at Reeds. A little bit pissed that they want to charge for 6 days when I only wanted it for 4 gave me a discount - $200 :?: :?: 4 days x $37 = $148
Cop it sweet over Easter I guess.
No idea where i'm going but somewhere close to Southern Cross as the Club does'nt release details.
Any tips for near Southern X and how to use the 45 would be appreciated.

Make sure you get a small MONO not a DD with the 45 hire and dont let em talk ya outta it..

Main thing is to WALK, keep ya coil within 2cm of the dirt and WALK, did i forget to say WALK.

settings are also a personal preference. I find when using a small coil 8" - 11" on the 5000 you should use a SLOW motion. not v/slow unless your in very hot ground conditions and i doubt you'll find any that require this setting where u are going.

8 - 11" coil
Audio - Normal
Gain - 13
Stab - 9
Motion - Slow

The rest as per already listed.
