Hi All
One of our members was kind enough to write up some instructions on how to use the Geo Maps link on the menu bar.  Many thanks Joan, now a dill like me can work it out seeing they have changed the portal.

Click AUSGIN Geoscience Portal

Click on Add Data

Click on Geological Maps Click on Scanned 250K Geological Map Index

Click on All Map Sheets

Click on the Map you want e.g. Kalgoorlie

Click on Add Map to Data (you will see Map on screen)

Click on the word Kalgoorlie and a Pop Down menu will appear

Click on Download Image High Resolution When image has downloaded, Click on the right side of your mouse and select Save Picture from the drop down menu to your hard drive

Thanks for those instructions, though I was scratching my head for a little while there.

Might I suggest that the third last line read “Click on Add Map to Data (you will see Map outline on right of screen)”

The next line then becomes “Click on the map outline and a Pop Down menu will appear on left of screen”. Etc

Seems the name has been changed again. Click on the menu bar and when you get to the site, it says the name is now AGSON.
