Can anybody recommend a detector in the $400 bracket that is a lot better than the Minelab Go Find 60, for Beach and Park hunting for Coins, Jewelery and Trinkets etc.

Mate of mine done well with xterra 305, that's in the price range. Maybe a secondhand 505, I have a Garrett AT pro and it paid for itself about 3 times over in 2 years.

I have been trying since last night to make a comment of this thread. It keeps telling me I have is no data to post?

Anyway, I use an Xterra 705 for the beach and park and find it a good machine to use. I notice they have dropped the price of them recently. There are three models in the range. the 305, 505 and 705.
