Ah well,it had to happen, the last trip for the season.Just got back from a couple of weeks around Sandstone.Weather wise you could not have asked for better, blue skies, cool nights and glorious days. Each time I spoke to the wife back in Perth all she could say was rain-rain and more rain.We had a trouble free trip finding gold most days.Grand final day was celebrated in the Sandstone Pub with the locals. The caravan park was dead but had a rather talented artist and his dog staying there. He had done a murel of the regulars on a wall in the lounge and had there body characteristics down pat.We hammered some of the well worked areas and gold was still coming to the light of day.A lot of the lease areas which have been pending for some time also became live whilst we were there.
Have now attached a couple of pics.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Good stuff Phil and nice to see the gold can still be found. I was going to take off yesterday but with fine weather in Perth had to get some yard work done, bugger that but it's done now.
I'm hoping to take off now on Friday, heading east, Kal first then wanna check out a spot a bit north of Menzies. after that who knows.

Hi Cliff.Yeah,go for it while you can.you should be right weather wise with out too many hot days in a row.You dont mind the odd one as long as it is followed by some cooler ones.
Have a good trip and find some of that yellow stuff.

Cheers

Phil
