a young fella came in with a couple of ozs to show..

all found on the ktown goldfields with a 5k and 11" coil.

nice find and shows the 5k and 11 inch combo is deadly. i am trying to disolve some similar looking ironstone in a nugget ATM using Alibright. it is working slowly but wont seem to remove a black stain on the gold from the contact area of the ironstone, any idea's?

u could try hydrochloric, it seems to work better on iron than quartz.
