Pressure cookers Empty Pressure cookers

Post by Pebbles Sun 21 Sep 2014, 11:19 am

I have been using a pressure cooker for the last three or four years and now I wouldn’t go away without it. Mine is an old Hawkins brand that I bought at a swap meet for $10.
The beauty of a pressure cooker is that you can knock up a hot tasty meal fairly quickly. I use it on one of those little butane stoves so it doesn’t matter if it is wet / windy, you can always find a place to cook. It also stops your pressure cooker from getting black as it does when cooking on the hotplate. In the Recipe section above is my stew recipe.
