No big deal, Just informing members that have not seen it that occasionally some of the stories in the Mining News online publication are of interest to prospectors. They have some good images so you can see what the new gold/iron ore/silver mine down the road looks like and what holes Gina is digging at the moment. On the home page you can search for news in your region eg Pilbara, Surat basin etc.

Its free to subscribe to.

We came past Gina's new transportable city last time on the way home from Marble Bar. It looked more like a gaol than pleasant accommodation. The best part was the fabulous new patch of road they've put in but the security fencing and traffic was unbelievable.

Hi Phil, Is that the Newman-Nullagine road? How many km did they seal?

Hi Tributer, its sealed to a bit over half way from Newman. The second half is as bad (or worse) than I've seen it in a very long time. The trucks and other mining traffic have trashed it.
