Some tips for your coil lead.
Try these if you get false signals when you knock your coil lead.
I don't use those valcro straps as they move and slide around.
Don't put the clips on the side of the lower shaft as you will lose them when swinging under shrubs, put them on top.
The middle pic is a swing arm knuckle that you can buy.

Here's another useful bit of kit from Clark Rubber or good hardware stores to save your lead ends.

good tip Robert, how many times have I dropped the end of the lead in the dirt before connecting it.
