I don't think it will. My view anyway. That's quite a large profit margin and a huge increase on already historically high prices.

Yeah $10,000 an oz sounds Extreme & I Think it would only come to that IF both the U.S.A & Euro collapsed at the same time .......The GOLD RUSH would overnight bring on such an effect.
That Said ; I do believe Gold will get to $5,000 an oz in 5-10 Years if not more.
South America is no longer Trading internationally in U.S currency & their economy is very well.
I would say ........unkind Things ..........about our U.S neighbors but the Rules of this neat Forum have to be respected.

Anyone read on the WEB news about the 17 Ton of fake gold that came out of fort Knox that belonged to China & was sent to em on demand & when in china someone there Cut one of the ingots open and .........RED Faces .........I dont ever recall reading how it was resolved ........? But would like to if anyone has some intel to share ? .

I'm happy with what ever price it is coz frankly I don't give a rats really coz I haven't retired and the need to sell is remote.

Ron Paul was calling for the Fed to be audited for many years to no avail. Then you hear that Germany need to wait for their gold for 7 years. Doesn't really mean anything though.
The situation has changed dramatically since the days when the dollar was pegged by gold. This day may come again but when it was pegged, Gold was very stable and slow to grow in value. 5 to 10K no chance.

So many beliefs recently that were indoctrinated into us  in the 1900's have proven to be False.
Back when gold was $290 oz in Ozi in the 1980's someone told you its going to go up too $1,900
in 2013 you wouldn't believe it then too.
All the x'spurts in 2000 said Gold would never go over $1,250 oz but it sure did.
The Chinese are Firm Believers in pure 24k Gold, not the watered down stuff.

With the recent 80,000 new Millionaires in China in the last 1.5 years from their Long Running economic Boom ; who ever is Regulating the Gold stocks?,  ( lets Hope it aint all up to the yanks )    
 cause they have a dismal track record when it comes to Accountability, had better know what they are doing. Bignuggs has quite a few Members here maybe he should Fly the idea of letting Members post their NUGGETS FOR SALE  & host the pictures and ask a modest commission  % from   forum  Members who Sell.

% 5 Each way is Reasonable ........True it might not pay for Three houses and a $500k vehicle or a yacht at the end of the day .........But how much do ya really need to make ya happy ?.

Gold will go up in the future as to what price it is anyones guess. It will not go sky high over night while the comex and the bullion banks and the fed still have control of things. When they loose control of things that is when it will continue on with its mighty move north. ( But when this happens there is a price to pay and that is the rest of the world and the economies of the world have really gone to the crapper).Which means there is god almighty problem with people and society which usually leads to riots,food problems and commodity problems.
It will make the MAD MAX movies look like a leisurely sunday afternoon picinic.
An when that happens Australia will no longer be called australia but the new name for the place will be ANARCHY ISLAND................................
