The mesh on that cage is a bit too big for mud crabs but it can be fixed.
Not sure the about the FIAT tho  

Got a mate that will paint her (get rid of the Hamersley yellow) and will throw a bull bar on it to give her a bit of character

put a radio in it so you can call for help when it breaks down will save you alot of walking, beter still get the boy to drive it

Always need to take it slow when working from that end,, 

If it's mechanically sound then a bit of rust and some dents don't matter.
