laverton luck

Hey guys,
we are over in laverton to do a bit of detecting next couple of days. problem is i need a bit of gear and was going to drop into laverton luck for it, but it doesnt appear to be at the address i thought it was , someone said they shut down?

just wondering if someone knew if they moved or a number i can call to track them? any info would be most appreciated, ASAP would be great as we were hoping to get out tomorrow.

not heard about them closing however the lavertonluck.com.au domain now forwards to nuggets down unders website so maybe they have ended!

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news but they have Closed for business for a very very short time.

I would suggest you ring Reeds and get them to ship up whatever you need via courier or if
desperate your only other option is to take a run into Kal to Finders Keepers on Hannan street.

yeah they have finally shut down completely and everything has gone.

If U get hold of Madtuna-steve he goes to kal on a regular basis and might be able to help u out-otherwise yes go through Nuggets from down under --still the same people and service as well.

Its strange when businesses close on the busiest part of the year for them.(start of detecting season).
Well wishin g them all good luck and hope STEVE is ok and finds big pot of gold.

They didn't close down because they wanted to, and it has nothing to do with financial hardship.

I hope Kim doesn't mind me saying this. but this is the story.

They got the raw end of the deal from council and the owner of the building they were part leasing. Apparently a firewall between the two businesses wasn't up to scratch and the owner basically told Kim to leave as it was going to cost too much to repair and they didn't want to spend the money. This was a day or so after they had just erected big signs on the perimeter fencing advertising their shop.... Kim wasn't at all happy.

Thats a bloody shame!! I had plans on calling in there this season for a look.
the small gold fields town shires need to pull thier heads in as they will ultimately lose a lot of of tourist $$
You only have to look at what happened to my friends at the the Former Sandstone General store to see proof of what Will happen when then an apethetic Shire council is in Control.

as far as i know they are still going, they are doing test runs on the quods just to see how they go. i have kims number if your wonting to get hold of her.

Discussing the why's and "wot nots" on reasons they have closed
i think we should leave that up to the business owners to divulge or not to divulge.

I agree it is a shame for what ever reason that the store had to close and we can only
hope they are able to re open in the future at Laverton.

it's a shame as i got a lot of gear from them and to read that they had shut the doors sucks ar*e.... what happen to them?? so steve will be just detecting now..

It certainly does suck stoppsy, especial as it closed only a couple o days before i got here, i was even considering trading my 4500 with a 5000 from them. these things do happen though and its not their fault.

she was a perfect person to represent WA and it's prospectors.

Real shame , I ordered a coil from Kim last year in advance and picked it up when I hit
Laverton . Planed to order a bunch of stuff this year and do the same .
