A week and a big difference

The weather in the Murchison has been relentless this year and no matter what anyone says it does wear you down...

The amount of birds at each water point told you their was not a drop left in the bush... It was a bird watchers paradise any and every bird graced their presence to survive..

But a week of scattered rain with some good falls has changed all that. I actually used the hot tap yesterday....

Not only that I walked a bit of new ground today with no luck before satisfying my hunger with 4 small sub gram'mers On an old flogged patch.

I still had a bit of yesterdays bush chook run out of me but it was only 30....

Shame about the 2 prospectors that perished on Pollele 45-50 that week.... it is a harsh land ignore her at your peril.
