joined the oz club finally

well after 5 yrs I finally found a nice size nugget of 54grams. she is a real beauty that is already in the hands of the new owner. I have been busy making a cast of it out of lead and slowly coating it with 24k gold leaf to keep as a memento, I figure might as well have the money and a display memento to boot.

cheers col, yep a nice nugget and I would of liked to keep her but needed the finances.
anyway she is just a baby to whats out there waiting for us to return and we are heading back for two weeks soon to explore further afield and open the area up.

cheers everyone. found it with the 5k and the 14" elite at about 13 inches with a clear stop and dig me signal. the ground is nothing to look at but no rubbish so just about every target is gold.

That's a beautiful piece mate!! Welcome to the club.

I called her the Titanic, with the pic in my hand, if you roll your head slightly to the right I can see a broken in half sinking ship with plumes of smoke billowing from the stacks, you can see the windows and front bow relatively easy with a bit of imagination. but thats just me and my wierd aspect on things.

Congratulations Martin. Getting into that club can be a long hard process these days.
