Probably still a bit early to be making plans for pending areas, lot changes tween now and cooler weather,
also tells me that Tengraph is STILL to bloody Ridiculous for most people to work out how to use it.
Come on DMP bring out a Simple Mode and an Advanced Mode ay Shocked couldn't be that hard for
the wealthiest Mineral state in oz to do dont ya think ?? Very Happy

So you sit in on a session of tengraph, and the gent tells you the map you purchased is void when you walk out the door.
So if i stay here with the map.....and send the good women out...will the map be honorable.?...no!...why not?....the pending may become granted by the time you get on the property.

Anyone heard this before.........or did i miss what he said when i was sneezing?

Pending ground lasts about a year.
So if the ground was pegged in Feb/March last year
it probably wont be pending much longer.

It depends on which Native Title groups are in play as to how long ground is pending for, as short as 90days in some areas.

All good info gents on a problematic cumbersome setup.
No wonder many just play the " i didn't no card".

If im ever in the situation of being yelled at, id probably crack up... point and say.." look at the tits on that roo" lol!

Is it possible to actually talk to the owners of pending sites just to check where it's at?
Might be better than driving 1000000k's to stare at a rifle.

They probably dont know either.
Notices are put in the West Australian when leases
are about to be granted.

There is a bit of a catch with the newspaper adds for ground about to be granted, these leases have had a Native Title agreement signed and are now ready to be granted. There are other areas which are covered by certain ILUA's ( indigenous land use agreement ) which means the lease will be granted as soon as it goes through the DMP process and then Native Title is negotiated. These are not advertised.
For the lease holder in those areas it means rent, rates and expenditure commitments start from date of grant but no work can be undertaken on the ground until a Heritage Agreement has been agreed to.
Can be a nightmare in some cases.
