added a bit of humour to it.

Sadly, it was taken down due to copyright.... Luckily I downloaded it first. I love the "GoldZilla" Vern Strange is an old mate of mine from quite a while back. He had(s) a lot of leaseholds around Mardi and Mt. Jackson. Years back we went over his pushings up there and did alright. He did a lot better. At that time he had one of my modded SD2000. I think the group at Jack's Find are probably the least professional. The 2 detecting on their own aren't 2 bad but I would have still gone over the area that was pushed. They probably did but not really interesting and dramatical enough for the production.... Not too bad to watch when there's nothing else...

In Germany I watched yesterday Eps 4 and the other ones the weeks before.
Well, I can really recommend it.

I get wanderlust, when I see those pictures.

Hey it's not a documentary. It is Television.
It is entertainment.
And lovely pictures of the outback.
I mean: Look at all the crap which is in TV now and you get a picture on what Level they produce TV.
Farmer seeks wife.
Married at first sight.
Honestly: Grab your TV and smash it through the window. you won't miss it.
But if you accept the above mentioned as the standard today, you know what to expect from Aussie Gold hunters.      
And then it is Entertainment.
And please, don't expect the gold to be real.
Are there any people out there, believing that you find at 2m² of pre- searched and old mining area 3 peaces of gold with a combined weight of 8 oz?
Likelier alternative: Production team brought the gold with them, marked the area and let the actors search.
Repeat it 10 times until they have a sufficient tape of every piece in the holy box or on the hard disc today.

from what i was told from Jase a lot of it was real gold finds. sure lots of staged footage for drama and entertainment as you would expect but generally real finds. jase did weeks on weeks of filming and they edited it down to a few hrs of what was worthy of their agenda. shame they decided to not use the footage.

Maybe watch one hour of live TV in evening how ever the way the news is being presented it may be back to half and hour. WA election & doom and gloom.

so much crap on t.v seeing a bit off our outback watching detector's swinging is bettor then most on t.v.
it was over dramatized and Americanized and a character or two on it that i think i would have strangled but all in all i will watch the next season.
some nice gold found to boot.
i think if it was made for prospectors discovery wouldn't have picked it up, it wouldn't have been aired anywhere.
i would assume tour groups, trainers, and blokes pegging ground and putting it on gumtree while it's still pending for sale are all going to cash in on it's world wide audience

Lol my boss's brother is one of the blokes on that show, he said he acts nothing like that in real life, the producers wanted drama and made them over exaggerate any little minor problem.

Well, that's obvious.
I mean. Minor problems while operating an excavator.

Any Operator of machines will have a big laugh. Any driver of a vehicle which was bogged anywhere in the outback will have a laugh.

But all the "white collar never touch the soil without gloves or you might get seriously ill" get warned:

Please, for your own safety, stay where you are. Never ever set one foot in direction of the outback.

Hahaha I did watch all of season one, one team is a bit annoying, they have been filming season 2 for a while now
