probably around the 10k mark, $9800 has been thrown around on another forum.
only thing confirmed from minelab tech is:
1) It will be an expensive model, above the GPX5000
2) It will have 3 modes of operation, and the ability to use those 3 modes at the same time
3) The ZVT zero voltage technology will be a gpx 5000 on steroids, it will be like the 5000, and the 2300 combined and then some, this new timing will be completely different than the gpx.
4) Projected release will be later this year, as they have just started getting the minimum technical documents on it.

so i wont go holding my breath for its release but it sounds like it will deliver the goods as minelab seems to do.

YEP we will just wait for its release..some time this year.

From what i read this technology has been around since the 1990 however its incorporation into metal detecting is
an advance on the past patents.

but as they say--if u dont get of yah bum u will never find gold no matter what gear u have.

lots of commentary & speculation on
what it will do , what we want it to do & how much :)

I reckon Minelab might do a teaser video soon on what
it really is .......................

It seems as though M/L are not the only ones with this patented technology, Whites have a patent and I wouldn't be surprised if Nokta come up with something as well

Competetion at last,

Ron

It does,nt want to be to good ...the nuggets are that small with the 2300, sometimes it takes about 10 mins to find the little bardies. New detector 3273188554

I think, a bit of wishful thinking there, ron.

Hi Inhere,

What do you care when you still use a GP3500..go figger

Aziz has copied a patent of Whites that clearly shows a CC circuit, so it won't be long...I'm used to waiting
