Teriyaki chicken with pasta
I never get too many complaints when this meal is served. It’s dead simple to prepare and tasty.
· Slice the chicken and into pieces that aren’t too thick. I prefer skinless thigh because I reckon it has more flavour.
· Coat with Masterfoods Teriyaki Marinade.
· Place on a sheet of lightly oiled baking paper on the hotplate.
· Cook, turning occasionally, until golden brown and slightly caramelised. (Don’t overcook!)
The pasta comes out of a packet. I like Kraft Cheese pasta, but there any number other brands and flavours available. Take your pick!
It’s good to keep a few packets of pasta on hand. It goes good with most things cooked on the barby and is a tasty alternative to potatoes.
Serve the chicken and pasta with dehydrated green peas that have been boiled and mixed with a dob of butter.
Enjoy.
Forgot to mention that I prepare the chicken at home and then vacuum seal it. That way it can go straight on the hotplate without any messy handling.
