Mt Browne, (Milparinka) is closed permanently to prospectors. NO EXCEPTIONS! Sad. I wonder who did what. It always produced gold though small mainly. I had a ball out there a few years ago and found over 60 little nuggies in around 3 days.

From word of mouth, I know he has kicked the odd bloke out recently.

Enjoyed my time there a few years back, like god made it rain tiny little bits of gold
over the area, so I could dig thirty or forty bits a day and that with a 3500.
Had planned to go back to see what FG on the 5000, would produce. Not now.
It seems we are being denied ground in every state and territory.
Who did what?

Apparently there has been a theft of Solar panels from the Milparinke water supply, the guy's up there are not happy.

Thieving lowlifes have closed off a very popular golding area, The Milparinka Visitor Information Centre has posted a confirmation & explanation on the Gold Detecting & Prospecting Forum. How many more areas are we going to lose through lowlifes. Can only suggest that we report any suspicious activity we see to the authorities. ie Rego's, Vehicle description etc

Looks like some good people are trying to get a fund organised where people can donate time and or money to rectify what has been wronged, then these donater may be able to re visit.

Pool and Browne have active and now working leases, id say this is the main reason.
Compounded by people doing runners and not paying wouldnt have helped either.
As for donating for the panels .... sry not my problem.
Sry if it seems harsh, but thats the way i feel about this.

Only takes one A*** hole to stuff it for everyone. The idea of doing a collection sounds excellent, build a bridge as they say.

Luckily I've only ever struck one pastoralist who wasn't happy and that was due to idiots using the stock water troughs to wash their bloody clothes and left all the soapy water in them.
Had to do some crawling to be able to stay on his ground. And the water was better to drink than Perth water, almost sweet and he was pumping it out of an old shaft.
