cheap tucker for any prospector
well wandered into woolies to stock up on canned food.
a receepe from the pages of a busted ass prospector
big cans of CHUNKY minestroni, beef & vegies, pasta, etc were on special at $2 a can IN WOOLIES $2.50 IN COLES
heat the contents of 1 large can up in a large frying pan add a cup of water add a pkt of 2 minute noodles and simmer --bobs ya uncle and put the cheque in the mail..this will feed 1 and half people or if u like ya tucker its a nice fullfilling meal.
usually put in one can with 2 packets of noodles if ya mate isnt a big eater.

PS: Don't know what ya gonna do for vege's though
PS2:We grow mung beans and alfalfa in those growing dishes for our greens

those cans by Mrs Campbell have all the goodies..
rabbits --dont know the last time i had a feed of that--luv it and a few yabbies to boot..
me and the king brown have come to a mutual understanding--so far its working.

Come on Ray , you CAN do better than that muck , good enough for a quick fill now n then , but all the times I was bush we ate well , better than town even , dinner time was a CELLERBRATION ... always ate well tho, camp oven treats taken in turns , that canned salty muck will kill ya long term .

There's a coupla donkeys out there called Ray and madmav.

The meat is a bit rich but they tell me it's good for ya
PS. Donkey meat must be good. My old dog used to love it but I've never eaten it myself.

also theres the food dehydrators that can make kilos of blade stake / kangaroo jerky , make it up before you start the trip & for those that don't have a fridge , cabbage, spuds , carrots , onions etc , this stuff can last a week , chuck it in the pot , comes up a treat .

made some jerky using the de-hydrater works a treat and dont need fridge.
