Headphones

Whats the latest on headphones?
Mine have packed it in.
Stick with KOSS?
seen some "nugget buster" headphones at PP what are they like?

Can't help with info on the nuggetbusters but at $170 a set they would wanna be damn good.
Me, I use the Koss UR30's which I find excellent. But like all headphones they make your head sweat like hell and the dye comes out of the padding and ya end up with black ears.
The RPG's are rubbish and I've left a few sets hanging in trees for target practice.
I'm thinking of trying external speaker and booster next.

I use Grey Ghost and like them, have their own volume control and don`t bleed black on your ears

Speakers and Amp is my preferred way,

IMHO DetectorPro's Black Widows are the tops.
I put a ring of lambs wool on the ear pad to help with the sweat.

Koss UR30's

Reasonably priced and very comfortable.

Couple of hints if you don't already know them. Those old socks you can only find one of - slide one over the muff of the headphone on each side and you'll be surprised how much it deadens the wind noise and stops the sweating. Alternatively, wear an Arafahat with the headphones over the cap material- same deal.
