I reckon it's real close

A couple of things I've seen and read lately lead me to believe the next Minelab offering is close.
There is a supposed shortage of 5000's. Why would that be? Is there another rush on somewhere around the planet?

Why would dave watters be advertising like this? He's never advertised 5000's on ebay before.

It would make good business sense for ML to release it now for the start of the season in WA

Also the Minelab dealers Conference is on May 7th-8th so I may be jumping at shadows,but me thinks it would be a great time for them to release the latest n greatest.
If Im wrong you can all take turns kicking me in the ass

Thats exciting talk, but the thing is didnt they recall a heap of them to
do some sort of security upgrade or make them harder to copy?

I have been waiting since xmas for a new model and need it befor June departure for WA my 10th Trip there.

I am a Minelab dealer in the US. Every week I get calls from Arabs wanting to buy 5 or 10 GPX 5000. I am told there is a new rush somewhere in the Sudan. There are none available here until the next shipment from Minelab, but they can sell every 5000 they can produce now, if they were bringing out a new machine this may delay it
