Murphy strikes again

First off I left my belt behind
No probs pop into Tarjay get another one problem solved

Then it rained on and off for during the trip
Ok that’s all part of detecting

A couple of days in I finally wore a hole in my favourite skid plate
It had to happen sooner or later
Went and picked up a new one



During one of these rain delays I decided to drive around
Looking for new ground
Wound up going up a track that was a bit too much for my car
I had gone up a couple of sections of track
And I did not want to reverse down the first section
Would have been risky
So I found a very small spot to turn around but knowing I may have to us
The hand winch to do so
And sure enough the wheels were spinning so out came the winch
I was attaching the winch to a tree when WTF that feels like a bullant sting
Looked down and they were all over the place AND IM ONLY WEARING SHORTS
The mongrels got me 3 times thankfully I had an onion in the car
Got the car turned round and got the F--- out of there



I usually check the rubbish when I get home this time it paid off



In spite of Murphy doing his best I still got 6 gms

nice mate, these trips are good to laugh about in a few years time, eith checking your rubbish i would hate to think how many nuggies i have throwen out as the wife found a nuggie when sh done the washing....

I had been told there are 2 good remedies for bullant stings
Onion and bees honey the onion worked like magic
I rubbed the onion into the stings within 60/90 seconds
I felt it was less annoying than a big mossi bite and was
totally gone within 20 mins

That sucker has paid for itself and a shit load more CP

Great story and nice photos.
Well when day start bad you know it will only deteriorate from there.Everything seems to go wrong but some stupid voice in our head pushes us to continue and fall into more crap.
Onion is quite good remedy for lot of things and little bit of vinegar does a wander for a lot of bites as well.
(Just little info regarding onion-when you peel an onion never ever leave it to use it next day.)They attract bacteria so it would not be healthy at all.(same goes with potatoes).
Very nice gold nuggets there :) Like that funny shaped nugget on the bottom of the 50 cents.

Regarding a skidding plate i think Phoenix posted long time ago regarding how he protect his plates.
I will leave it to him to post it.

Even when the Gods are against you mate,you still pull a few nuggets.
Being a lazy Fucker,I normally just get some Marine carpet and cut out some floor mats to fit so I dont have to Vacume. The beauty of this stuff is you can hose the crap off it or throw it in the creek if your out bush for a while.
