how much does mercury go for and where do ya get it?

:idea: Flying Kiwi............if you know any one who pans for gold it is frequently found where the old timers worked and attaches itself to gold.
It does have it`s use in fine gold recovery and with a retort can be used over and over. When found in a gold bearing stream it is frequently burned off, leaving the gold behind. Just never breathe the fumes and avoid skin contact as it will make you "mad as a hatter", who used to use it in felt hat production.
