One nugget trip to Kal
Just got back from Kalgoorlie where I visited my son, dil and my grandson. Of course being a budding prospector I took my 5000 for the trip, it got some use but not as much as I would like.
My idea (as in the past) was to go over old pushings and worked areas as there was obviously gold found previously. I suppose I got about 10hrs of detecting in spread over the week and to my surprise I unearthed a nice 12.5 grammer on the edge of some pushings. Just goes to show that those old pushings may still bare gold.

Cheers Shane ... yeah mate am very happy, it's a nice jewellery piece for Miss 22.
Was using a Coiltek round 18 .... was a bit noisy on the highly mineralised ground but it sniffed out this little ripper.
