What an experience ???
Well i`ve just got enough of my faculties back to put pen to paper about my 56 day trip to the other side.
Geeeeezz where do I start ?
I departed Huntly Vic on the 5th July on a trip to parts of Oz that I had never been before to meet up with people who I had never met before.
What a great lot of people I met prior to, at , and after the Muster and I must sincerely thank every one of them for assisting me in so many ways. There are some whom I give special thanks, they know who they are so I won`t name them here.
Then came the time to head home.
I departed Cue C/park 6.45 am Thursday 25th Aug. arrived home (Huntly Vic.) 5 pm on Mon 29th.
The old 60 series didn`t miss a beat for the whole trip although it used 11 lts of oil and $2345 worth of Diesel, GPS kilometers of 9983 (17 klm short of 10000, I should have gone out swinging one more time.) I am happy with these figures as I towed a C/van most of the time and had stuff on the pack rack as well.
3 staked tyers (one repairable)
I didn`t even need the Cue C/P resident mechanic to get it to start for me at any time. Ay Cliff
I hope I am able to attend next year`s but please try and have it a bit nearer, anywhere East of Port Auguster will do.
Scrubby.
