Iv been chatting to a few out there & its wet all round meeka south, murchison , salt lake midgies out in force , lacky bands on the bottom of the trouses & all to keep the buggers out

It will be 3-4 weeks before we get out there. Hopefully it will have dried out a bit by then.

Don't you just hate those midgies. I'll never get the missus out there if the midgies are bad.

Yep some get it worse than others, i get it, had to dose up on antihitermines one bad year, then nw mudcrabbing they are everywhere no real bother, but the inland buggers must have bigger teeth

Garlic might be the go.  It will keeps ticks of a dog for awhile, I might try that next.

Phil and I both bogged at same time about 60 metres apart, took us 3 hours to get out using  winch, snatch strap, high lift jack and shovel.
I had to use my foldup table as a skid for the drawbar on the trailer. Good learning experience for both of us.

Yep bogged , the only thing worse than being bogged is bogged alone, real hard work, blunt axe, rickety kangarroo jack, & the only wood is 100 metres away , no phone, 120 km east willuna , worst 3 days of my life.... Had beer but⛱
