Windows 10

Has anyone had problems using Windows 10 with mines dept online services. I have been trying to use some of the online services and it tells me to update Microsoft Silverlight, on downloading update and installing it tells me it cannot update Silverlight. When I have just downloaded update how can that be? . Have tried with Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox all the same. Does anyone know why this is ??? Trying to do some research and now have come to a standstill as cannot access information. Any help would be appreciated.

I did have the same problem a while back.
instead of waiting for the DMP to download the silverlight plugin, I did a google search and downloaded an independant silver light file.
works fine now.
