First nugget thats plus sub gram
Been a long time coming 8 month's and finally a nugget to smile about (although all gold found is worth smiling about). It may be still small but it's better than a .3 gram nugget.

That's a great find - would have been an inverted signal I guess?
To post photos you need to have them on something like photobucket. You copy the link in photobucket and then go back to your draft post, find the icon that says post an image on the bar above where you type the message, and paste the link where it tells you to.
Type 'photobucket' in the search function on this forum and you'll find more detailed instructions.

Not to sure about if it was inverted as i have not found much gold at depth. It jumped out quite loud and was around 300-350mm deep. Very happy person

Brandon that's a nice jump from a 0.3g. I'm dying to get out there with my 4500 to see what I can do

Yeh Brenden, reading your account bought back memories for me. I Found my first piece on my third one week trip to Leonora and after the first 2 trips of Zip I was starting to wonder. I Was on that road just north of Leonora heading East. Allan Bond had his new grabbing gold show (The Rabbit Warren) on the north side of the road. It was all fenced off and I think there was a couple of guys keeping watch. Anyway I was swinging my Whites detector about 100 meters south of the Bond gate and it was probably about day 15 of detecting and WHOOPEE, a 3.5 Grammer. I was hooked for the next 30 or so years. It sure is a magic feeling that first piece. I was living Balcatta in those days, so Leonora was a bit more than just around the corner.
