Minelab Pro Alloy Gold tester

Anyone got one of these yet ? Have they proved useful ?

I saw this at the APLA meeting the other night. I think it's more aimed at the treasure hunters. When we find a nugget I think we have a pretty good idea if it's gold or not. I don't know if it could actually tell us the purity that we'll get paid on when we sell. Perhaps I'll understand it more when I get to Perth to flog a bit off.
