hi all
well iv'e done it going for my first lease
big step, big big step affraid
just waiting for all the paper work to be done
thay say it can take up to 4 weeks to 1 year to go throught damn
hope not, hope its all worth it, as iv'e been working on it for so long now  jkihyig

Yes, we have been waiting since November '14, the native title business takes at least 5 months.

Good one pip welcome to a whole new world ( of paperwork) can be a bit daunting first time around

If you write to dmp same time as you apply you can instruct them to notify NT then rather than wait until they are ready to grant then notify shaves 3 + months off

If the process had been like it is today, 100 odd years ago, they would just be turning the first dirt in the Super Pit about now.  l;wfh

Good pip, what sort of lease? Pl , el. I found the real fun starts when you have to convert to ml. Native title lawers make a meal of it...natives usually dont get much of that tho!
