swap 3000 4000

Mate wants to swap his 4000 for my 3000, he reckons the 3000 goes deeper, i like the 4000, good deal hey!

you read different opinions on the 3k vs 4k and the 4 vs the 45, i figure they did improve timing and other settings so go for the better machine. it really comes down to knowing the detector and all its intricacies. if you know how to squeeze every inch out of the 3k but cant fathom the 4k or the 4800 or 5k then the 3k is better for you. me i prefer to learn the secrets of the better detector meaning the 5k and the SDC ATM and we will see about the 7k later this year. either way get a detector and get out there, machine means nothing without coil on the ground time.
