Thanks K.town & co, we are all waiting to see these comparison reports, good job. The 7000 looks the goods. Its only been a day and a bit and it seems most the new owners are too busy digging gold to spread the news.

Thanks K town well done.

If I remember the Nickol river area had some very noisy ground and I would be very interested to see how you get on out there.

JP has not said much as yet but I don't think he has used the 7000 in WA as yet???
I always take notice of what he has to say so hopefully we will hear from him soon.

In the meantime, keep posting your results please K town as it all helps those of us considering the purchase of the new super bipper .....love your work !

Well done Ktown running tests in that temp.

I have spent a few summers up there hanging off the back end of drill rigs chasing the elusive dollar.

Now if I get out in 30 degrees I wilt like a pink rose..... pale .... Embarassed

Great report in adverse conditions.

Cheers,

Driiler.

Great work mate!  Love that family photo!

Looking forward to hearing how the boys went with the machine today.

That 2300 looks great too!

Gday Ktown
Thanks for the rundown on the new beast.
What's your opinion of the 7000 versus the 2300 on those little bits? Can you expand a bit on your original post or further experience in testing against the 2300? Is it that much better as stated in the publicity blurb? Why I ask is that I'm thinking a good combo would be the GPX and a 2300, as nearly all our Murchison/East Murchison gold is fairly shallow. Okay, there are a few sites like Quinns, Nannine, Austin, Ruby Well etc where the extra depth of the GPZ will get you extra gold but on the whole this country is fairly shallow.
I don't need the wireless function, I've already got it with the Little Ripper, I don't need the GPS function, I've already got it. I certainly don't want any extra weight to swing. I don't want to download anything from the unit.
I'm sort of getting the impression that this is way new technology that will develop a lot over the next couple of years but that at this infancy stage it may not deliver a whole lot more than what we have?????
cheers
Brett

PS good to see Ray has entered the fray again Very Happy

Thanks for that report. Its what everyone is looking for.
To go out for the first time with a new beeper and 'kill the pig' is a big ask.
Lot of learning to go through.
I've said before, its time walking round to evaluate it.
It mightn't find gold exactly where you found it before but in ground nearby where you found no gold before.

Just a thought, there's about $20000 worth of beepers at risk of being run over in the shade there.
Wouldn't be the first time that's happened... Shocked

Very Happy
