The other new minelab detector

Has anyone got any idea what the new mid range detector to be released in the year will be like?, after seeing what the new flagship machine is like it conjures up all sorts of ideas on what else might be offered?.

Maybe the same style detector as the (ctx3030), I heard from a friend of a friend that the he was told that a ctx3030 can have a chip fitted and a different coil to the original and it would be ok on the gold, I am wondering whether it could be something like that or maybe even something with the inner workings of an sdc2300 fitted into the same layout as the Eureka gold?

Any ideas?

They have already released the new mid range, it was the SDC. The other one still to be released is the budget model. From the names they have registered it sounds like it will be an upgrade to the 705.

Maybe an SDC that has a bigger coil?
