nullagine find--

Heard today from a bloke who came into the workshop about a 2kilo nugget found at
Nullagine in the last couple of weeks..

Yep 2 kgs the size of yah open hand-- some buggers have all the luck..

that should get the day dreamers motivated..sorry haven't got a pic but will try to hunt one down

will wait till he comes back into the shop.

Im doubting its Nullagine its self , maybe Yandicoogina [gold area , not the iron ore area by the same name ] to the north or marble bar /sharks & probably behind a dozer . Nullagine was slack on the big lumps like that , 1 found an 8 ouncer in a creek & the locals were surprised ,its a place for smaller bits over a large area .

A couple of years ago two blokes found 1x61oz and 1x54oz nuggets in the Nullagine area. I saw the pictures which proved it. Others saw the nuggets.

true Roger , I heard that as well ,one time I was up there , Anton the publican saw one , maybe the same & il say it , was 9 years or so ago a bloke got one in deep gravel at Cooks creek ,not far from the mozzy ck , but really the attention that area gets from sht loads of people year in , big gold is rare , boney hills , most creeks have shallow ground , have been walked up thousands of times , the only chance is the huge river / creeks & do the rubbish dig over deep traps.
overall tho the big stuff wasn't picked up around nullavines east / mozzy compared to some .

sounds a bit like the 60 oz nugget that got found last april 2013 it was in the minelab times along with a 54 oz one.
same same but different.
